How long would other gals wait until they kiss someone. As in men you would meet socialising .

    Wait for what
I have images of holding up a stopwatch - "no wait I can't kiss you yet... wait until it's at 0..." :D

Straight away to be honest. I'm a kiss whore. Can't stand the curiosity of wondering whether or not someone is a good kisser. Prefer to get it out of the way before I develop a serious crush and then discover that there's no chemistry.

It depends on the people I am socialising with and the environment I suppose.
I suppose a lot depends on how I get on with someone, if there is chemistry ya I kiss them depends if its just for the sake of it I wouldn't enjoy it as much if there was some kind of chemistry there. But there is no reason why you couldn't kiss someone straight away or after a while after meeting etc or eventually or if not. If it feels right then ya go for it if not don't.

Went on a date a few months ago with the fella and I could tell he was nervous. We hadn't kissed all night so I had to block his way as we were leaving a bar and make the moves. Everything was a success and then we could relax, so as soon as possible, I'd say.

Why would you wait for a man to be asleep before kissing him?

    I lol'd at this. Classic. :D

I kiss if I feel like it, don't if I don't. I don't believe in waiting because I ought to.

Seriously people the protocol is this ,

First date smiling sweetly , second date , some hand holding , third date still hand holding, fourth date kiss on lips but absolutely no tongue, sixth date kissing with tongue.

If you dont follow the above protocol then you have to ask yourself an important question , are you a slapper ???? :pac:

LOL I personally love kissing and go for it as soon as I get the chance. Also if the guy is droning on its a great way to shut him up !!!!:D

There's no rule book on this! The perfect time is when you're comfortable and want to kiss him :D

The very first time I met my first girlfriend, I was terrified of making the moves on her. We flirted heavily all night and really danced around each other until hours later I finally plucked up the courage to move in for the kiss. Of course, the chemistry had been there and she was more than willing to respond in kind, but the first thing she said when we finished was, "I was wondering when you'd finally get round to that."

To this day that still annoys me; that she expected me to make the first move because, I suppose, I was the man.

So, ladies, if you like a man (or woman!), never be afraid of moving in for the kiss yourself! If we're delaying on the kiss front it's probably not because we don't like you - if we didn't like you, why would we be giving off the signals at all? - but because we're absolutely bloody terrified, just like you!

I normally would kiss them straight away, no point in wasting time!

To be honest, kissing a man I've just met out and about in a pub or whatever does not appeal to me at all. I know some people like to go out and just kiss people but that's not me. I prefer to wait, get to know someone and yeah, I guess I sort of like the anticipation.

I'd kinda agree with that, I love kissing but I wouldnt try it on with a girl I've been chatting to for 2 minutes, wheres the fun in that  much prefer the buildup to a really good, anticipated snogging session.

Exactly, same here. I just don't get it really. Never kissed someone before I got to know them.

If you're consciously waiting for a kiss won't that give off a vibe of desperation or neediness not saying you are but the vibe that you want a kiss is off putting,

I'm never thinking about it unless I see a sign of flirtiness or closeness and the kiss just happens after those actions not a certain time.

But you are talking about time here so I say meeting a guy while you're out and kissing him at the end of the night is the best time, before that and the climax has already happened unless you plan on sleeping with him, leave it until you meet again and the buzz wont be the same

I remember meeting somebody once and it was instant chemistry. I mean that literally we had said as much as hello and both of us locked eyes and magnetically gravitated toward each others faces...

...and then my mates gf put her big stupid arm round my neck and dragged me out of reach because she wanted to dance. Led away, eyes still locked, gurgling to the dance floor. I still dream about the kiss that never was.

Why should you have to make the decision as to when to kiss him? Make him make the first move for once!

I had one of those once, only I got to kiss him.

We were out in pub one night, kept catching this guy looking over, I was on my way back from the bar and he stepped into my path, it was instant chemistry, we nattered for a while, bought one another a drink and after some very delicious hormone riddled time passed, we had a kiss.

    Best kiss ever.

Is there any women or men out there that actually dont like kissing?

Just curious to see if anyone doesn't like the whole art of kissing:pac:

I was once in a relationship where the other half didn't like kissing. It seemed unnatural, and a portent of doom.

It's my favourite sexual position, so to speak, so I like to get down to it as soon as.

argh. They were there when I got back though and we did spend the night chatting..and drinking, they even ended up crashing at my place as they were out of town and had accidentally on purpose lost their friends but the optimum moment had passed and nothing happened, I don't know why because I know we both definitely wanted it to. :( We were very polite with each other and neither one of us wanted to make a false move. (that and there were too many other people around, too much beer and a need for sleep became the priority)
We did stay in touch via fb for about six months though, but it fizzled out after a while. I still think about them occasionally.

Same. I don't like kissing people I don't know. Still, some people are absolutely crap kissers, and it's helpful to know that early on :pac:. If we're on a "date" of some sort though, I'd find it weird if we didn't kiss at all.

For some strange and unknown reason ,once I get past the point of inebriation ,I lose the power of speech and tend to communicate with kissing.Complete strangers.I think I'm beginning to rue this with my string of unknown viruses on my heels.

I once was on a date with a guy who shook my hand at the end of the night. Not that I wasnt pleased. He was older looking than my dad.But I think a kiss on the cheek might have made me feel a bit better. It was like a business meeting that had gone horribly wrong.

theres nothing worse than crap kissing, its just horrible, people who seem to fancy some of what you had for dinner and are intent on getting their tongue into your stomachs, or killing you via drowning you with their saliva.
