Need Advice on diet

    Hi All,

    was wondering if anyone out there could give me a bit of advice on diet.

    I started out 9 weeks ago with the mission to loose 2 stone (was 18 stone), while i have dropped a stone so far, my weight has stayed stagnant for the last 2 weeks at 17st.

    Not sure what i should be doing to loose that extra stone

    Any advice on changes to diet, exercise would be much appreciated.

    Exercise: 2 bootcamp sessions a week (1 hour each), 2 weight sessions in gym (1 hour each), 1 interval running sesion ( 6km on a treadmill).

    Typical day diet:
    Breakfast
    - Bowl of Fruit n Fibre with a yoghurt
    - Large americano coffee with skimmed milk

    Lunch is either
    - salad ( lettuce, sun dried tomatoes, roasted peppers, chicken,
    parmessan, cucumber, red onion, pesto dressing) or
    Or
    - Salad box from blazing salads - Shredded carrott salad, humus, chick
    pea salad, roasted veg, lentil salad
    - 1 Litre of water

    Snack (Afternoon)
    - 2 pieces of fruit - banana and apple

    Dinner is either
    - salad with 2 bbq sausages or 2 chicken breasts with roasted veg or
    green curry with veg (no rice)
    - 1 litre of water
    - 1 glass of red wine

    Snack (evening)
    - Cup of Coffee with milk
    - 1 or 2 pieces of chocolate

    On weekend i might have a few additional glasses of wine or a couple slices of pizza but thats about it

    Any advice much appreciated

    Have you looked at how many calories you need to be eating to lose weight in a steady, progressive and controlled way?

    Have you measured portions and counted how many you're actually eating daily and weekly?

    You've taken the first and propably hardest step and made a conscious effort to eat better. There are obviously big things one could point to like fruit and fiber is pretty much junk food, pizza, drink, chocloate as a snack in the evenings.

    The next step if I were in your situation is to work out how many calories you should be eating for weight loss and adjust your eating habits accordingly. If you do it will become very obvious what's hurting your weight loss efforts.
