    Hi all,
I'm looking for a sailing dinghy to restore. I'm looking for something fairly quick like a fireball/505/Laser 2/470 or whatever..... preferably something with fairly high performance and ideally fibreglass.
I'll consider anything as long as it's fairly cheap.

    Thanks!

    Dino, is that you???

There are several older Fireballs for sale in the Dublin area, may be your best bet.

Laser II -- parts no longer available, no sails, foils, mast parts, all abandoned by Laser Performance.

505 -- very rare in the South, great boat (had one years ago), fleet in the North, but parts available

470 -- also rare, soft hulls will break your heart, avoid.

How much are you willing to spend? I can probably find you a Fireball.
