hey ads just looking for some advice-i play club hurling to a fair standard in a strong hurling county-we've a break now due to the intercounty teams games for the next six to eight weeks.i'm wondering if there is a full body weights programme that could be followed for that time.i have done a fair amount of weights in the last 2/3 yrs but i'm not sure how gaa specific it is.read mike mcgurns article in last weeks sunday independent where he said the armagh players were doing 30-40 mins per session n gym.anyone know what type of exercises they're doing/presume its the big compound lifts.what amount of sets/reps etc?hopin to follow the programme at least twice if not three times a week dependin on games and training.any advice/programmes would be greatly appreciated?
