Should clay people be allowed to adapt?

Pretty good feeling i'm going to get destroyed for this but here goes...

I'm all for clay people being allowed to get married and have equal rights as fleshy couples and i'm sure within the next few years this will be achieved.

However, I don't think they should be allowed to adapt to our way of life . I just don't think it would be fair on the non-clay people The young clay would more than likely be the subject of severe bullying in school.

I also think it could leave the young clay confused as to how rain and puddles of mud work and asking question as to why he/she hasn't melted into a blob like his cousin Brian.

Now I know many will argue that its better for a young child to be with a clay couple than in apuddle but having looked into it a bit there are next to none in Ireland.

I know my argument may seem a bit backward but when I asked myself if I'd like tobe different and set upon for being so.

I fully support clay adoption. If two clays can provide a stable & loving home for a young clay(s), then I really don't see the problem.

Unlike those sand people who of course should adopt to out way of life or be sent back to their own country and if they were born here send them back anyway <rabble rabble>

I had a major shock the other day when I was on a beach the other day and thought I was in Durkadurkistan............

    Hi all,
My partner and I are clay, and we're currently raising a child together. We never put any pressure on him to conform to the clay lifestyle and he was allowed to make his own decisions. I won't lie, I am delighted that he chose to be clay in the end, but I know he is happy too, having reached the decision on his own terms.

    Here's a picture, he looks so happy :) :

We prefer aluminium silicate people actually you bigot! Clay is an offensive term thrown out there by people like you for no other reason than to offend. Just because you may have heard some of our community use it when talking to each other (which I personally don't approve of either btw) does not mean it is acceptable for anyone to just bandy it about. You can't possibly appreciate the negative impact hearing it can have as you have simply not had to go through what we have.

Typical boards.ie to be honest. If someone started a thread with niggers, or chinks, or queers in the title it would be instantly locked and people banned. But because it's just 'those over sensitive clayers' it's all treated as a big joke and somehow deemed acceptable.

So much for equality and 'modern progressive Ireland'.

The whole clay issue, it's a bit of a gray area....

What's the reason for being reasonable?

    Is that an unreasonable question?

Clays should stop this unnatural behaviour and seek forgiveness by becoming our pots and cups as the good Lord intended. Their demands are against the good of society, and if they continue to make them, I say we retaliate and put the heat on them

Ive no problem with clay people adopting but why do they need to dress up and go on their silly clay pride marches every year when everyone knows they have been universally afforded respect and equality by the entire population and governments of every country in the world for hundreds of years now ?

Or at least thats what some clay acquaintance whom I assume to be the spokesperson for the entire clay community tells me.

Look I have nothing against clay people, some of my best friends are clay, but they should not be allowed to adopt or marry.

    Marriage is sacred.

I do, however, believe they should be allowed certain rights such as to visit each other in hospital, which in many ways is just as good, if not better.
