I am just wondering if anyone has done this course part-time?

the part about Work Based Learning

A portfolio will have to be created by students to gain these credits. A portfolio refers to a claim for learning based on a collection of suitable pieces of evidence of that learning. It is usually a folder containing statements about what a student has learned and supporting appendices of evidence. The portfolio should describe work based learning experiences in the context of potentially credible learning. The experiences cited should be certified by the employer.

does anyone know what this is ? i have already completed a two year course which needed work experience that my place said they would give me and changed their mind, so i really dont want to waste another 2 years

Best to email the lecturer involved directly.

    Hi there

i have completed this part of the course and basically what is involved in it is taking the list of topics that you complete over the two years and run it against your cv and school specs and explain how they fit into the roles that you have completed
you will be amazed at how it is -- we had to run ours to 40 pages

if you have any questions re this pm me

I just completed that course between Jan-April,

I basically expanded my C.V to 40 pages, it is an absolute waste of peoples time, I don't know why its on the curriculum! but in saying that, it was handy not having an exam on it come May, 1 less subject to study!

I think the whole thing took me roughly 2-3 hours

    copy paste copy paste etc

I wouldn't let it stop you doing the course though OP if that's what your worried about? the course overall itself is quite good!
