Drinking water is good for clearing out the system and also prevents you from retaining water, which can cause bloatedness. In terms of getting the fat down you should really be doing some exercise and try not to eat any carbs after 6pm. If you get hungry in the evening have some protein such as an omlette or a piece of fish.

Carbohydrates - white bread, pasta, crisps, chips, white rice, sugary snacks. Wholegrain stuff is much better but still try to keep it before 6pm.

In terms of water just sip about 4-5 pints of the stuff throughout the day.

Wholegrain is still carb rich, it'll make little difference. I would put some more veg in your diet.

Don't obsess with calories. Foods like nuts are high in calories and fats but these kind of fats are good for you.
Just watch the sugar and refined starchy foods.

OP, keep in mind there is no food that will reduce this excess fat unless its you intend using said food to replace more unhealthy foods. If you post up your height / weight and typical daily diet it might help us to help you.

exactly - its all guess work until you post up current nutrition intake.

Wholegrain is not going to change anything really and for some people its just an addition of another irritant to your food intake
