    To Degausserxo's playpen

When Degausserxo asked me to write her a playpen intro I kind’ve panicked because I’m not very funny. Then I did some research and I really panicked. So I decided to write what I know. I know I like Degausserxo.

Reasons why Panda likes Deagausserxo :

I like your taste in music. I like that.
I like that you used to think when you were younger that everywhere was a suburb of Dublin.
You smell like Chloe and Flowerbomb.
I like that you have very strange dreams which are ridiculously entertaining.... for me anyway. Fridge Mom?
I like that you have a cool username.
I like that we’re the same size in clothes so we can do a clothes exchange. GIVE ME YOUR CLOTHES.
I like that you like buying makeup. I too enjoy this pastime occasionally.
I like that your Uncles name is Gay Wall.
I like that your hair has been every colour of the rainbow.
I like that you asked me to do you playpen. Because your a nice/cool/ interesting plus good person and it makes me feel nice introducing you to others.

Now answer all these gremlins questions and they’ll end up thinking your just as amazing and funny and nice as I think you are.:)

Thank you Panda, for that maaaaahvellous introduction!

Ooh, I've quite a few! Dalliance, lassitude, ingenue, mellifluous, opulent, waif, and probably more that I can't think of at the moment.
    Noel2k9 wrote: »
Have you ever ate a carrot?
    .. yes?
Where is the furthest you've been from home?
Whichever's further, the south of Spain or Germany!

Have you ever broken one of those "flexible" rulers?
Yes! When I was in first class I was convinced that we HAD to have our own crayons to do art the next day. I used to collect the roll books and have a little chat with the secretary every morning, and mentioned it in passing to her. She then told my teacher, who absolutely humiliated me in front of the class (I was a nervous child as it was) - stopped the whole class and made them listen, started shouting at me that I was telling lies about her and making her look bad. The whole time I was clutching a ruler (flexible!) and the nervousness got to a point where I made it snap in half.. she then decided to point that out and shout at me for it. Bítch.

Were you aware that the xylophone is indeed a real instrument? One which can be studied as part of a university music degree?

I knew it was an instrument alright, but as part of a degree? Jaysus.

    Favourite food?
    Probably popcorn. Or carbonara.

    Guilty pleasure?
Bad American TV shows.. 90210, The Hills, stuff like that.

    Coke or pepsi?
    Either!

    Tea or coffee?
Depends on what mood I'm in.. or if my mam happens to be making tea at that particular moment.

    Boards or Facebook?
Boards, there's too much drama on facebook!

    :D
    Wouldya?
Depends on the time of day

    Couldya??
    Probably

    Haveya??
    All the time

    may I???
    Certainly

    What time and where??
    4 a.m., the Wicklow mountains

    Why did you join Boards?
The same reason as practically everyone, the Leaving Cert! Think it was the end of fifth year for me though.

    How did you find C&H??
Started a thread in the LC section about what peoples' plans were for the summer, and someone (I believe it may have been Fad) directed us here!

Are you ALSO scared of spiders?
Nope, not at all! Cockroaches are an entirely different story though.

What is your biggest fear, except for spiders?
Someone in my family becoming really sick, or being in serious trouble of any sort.

Name your most favorite part of day?
Sunrise after staying up all night.

Ever had an imaginary friend as a child?
No, but I had imaginary Pokemon!

    Favourite piece of clothing??
Either a high waisted, knee length 50s-style pink skirt or a green, blue and black dress from Springfield.
    jumpguy wrote: »

Tbh I don't really know much about it, but after seeing what happened in Japan recently, I'm gonna lean more towards nay.

    Orange juice or apple juice?
Blood orange juice, which EVERYWHERE have stopped selling.

    Most formative moment?
It's hard to pick one, really. The past two years have been a real eye opener, I've had to grow up a lot.

Where d'you see yourself in 5 trillion years time?
As dust in some sort of post-apocalyptic universe

What time d'you go to bed last night?
Oneish, woke up at three, got up for a while, went back to bed!

    How are you?

What do you want to be when you're older?

Most embarrassing thing ever to happen to you?

No matter how hard I try, I can't get into Bright Eyes. Is something wrong with me?

How did you get away with the 'xo' at the end of your name, when I was ridiculed for my friendly x's? :(

Smiles, the sunrise in Árainn Mhór, pretty jewellery.

    Favourite smell?
Chloe, nice smelling boys, the smell before rain, wet concrete, baking stuff.

    Right now, I'm good thanks!

What do you want to be when you're older?
A vet! I'm going back to school in September to repeat the LC, so hopefully! And, yano, a mother someday.

Most embarrassing thing ever to happen to you?
In third year, while we were waiting outside our history class (the area was packed with other classes too), a guy in my class hooked the back of my schoolbag with his hockey stick and dragged me to the floor... only my bag was so heavy that as I tried to get back up, I toppled over again. Laughs ensued, and I couldn't get up.

No matter how hard I try, I can't get into Bright Eyes. Is something wrong with me?
Definitely not, I don't like 'em either!

How did you get away with the 'xo' at the end of your name, when I was ridiculed for my friendly x's? :(
It's the name of an album rather than friendly a friendly xo!

Yep, a zillion times! I used to be a scout for a few years, and we'd go on a camp a month.

    Are you afraid of anything?
I hate cotton wool and cockroaches, and I refuse to watch movies with Kevin Bacon in them because of a recurring nightmare as a child.

    What's your favourite animal?
Dogs, wolves, red pandas, polar bears and the slow loris!

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g9f-6jygRJk

Where would you most like to visit?
Vancouver, hopefully going there next summer with friends.. and Disneyland. I'm actually getting married in Hogwarts.

They've been on my laptop a while, from when I had a tumblr!

    .. yes. Obviously.

    Fondest memory of Pygmalion?
That time he had a beard

    Least fond memory of Pygmalion?
That time he shaved his beard

    Either!

Bieber. Purely so that this girl could also be recognised as one.

    Favourite C&H-related poem?

Do you think members of the biscuit industry were giggling away when choosing the names 'Hob Nobs' and 'Ginger Nuts'?

Rate the following biscuits: Rich Teas, Ginger Nuts, Nice, Digestives, Bourbons, Custard Creams, Hob Nobs.

What's the most overrated thing in life? (It's tea.)

What's a suitable punishment for people who play music off their phone on buses or trains?

    Do you watch Peep Show?

Did you think the Morbegs were terrifying?

    Favourite novel?
    Favourite film?
    Favourite accent?
    Favourite dictator?

    Favourite poem?
I don't have any one in particular, but anything Plath or Hughes wins.

    Favourite C&H-related poem?
That'd be like choosing my favourite child!

Do you think members of the biscuit industry were giggling away when choosing the names 'Hob Nobs' and 'Ginger Nuts'?
Maybe not initially, but definitely afterwards!

Rate the following biscuits: Rich Teas, Ginger Nuts, Nice, Digestives, Bourbons, Custard Creams, Hob Nobs.
    In order of preference:
    Hob Nobs
    Nice
    Rich Tea
    Ginger Nuts
    Digestives
and Bourbons and Custard Creams are both equally rank and the losers of the biscuit world.

What's the most overrated thing in life? (It's tea.)
It's most definitely not tea. Anything ridiculously faddish that preteen girls like, and repetitive indie music.

What's a suitable punishment for people who play music off their phone on buses or trains?
Make them sit upstairs on the back of the 77, regardless of their destination.

    Do you watch Peep Show?
I used to occasionally, but not anymore!

Did you think the Morbegs were terrifying?
The real people that presented the show were even more so!

    Favourite novel?
    The Shadow of the Wind.

    Favourite film?
    The Lion King!

    Favourite accent?
It's a toss up between Canadian, Donegal-ian, and South African.

    Favourite dictator?
Stalin, cause he looks like my dad!

How many nyans could a nyan cat nyan if a nyan cat could nyan nyans?

    Favourite/least favourite memes?

Does scone rhyme with bone or with gone? (Answer incorrectly and I keel you...)

If you could be a fictional character from any TV show, who would it be?

Favourite McBain moment from the Simpsons?

If you had to be reborn and live your whole life as either a skanger, an emo or a stereotypical D4-head, which would you pick?

How many nyans could a nyan cat nyan if a nyan cat could nyan nyans?
    7, I do believe.

    Favourite/least favourite memes?
Never really was one to get into memes really, with the sole exception of the dog version of lolcats whose name escapes me...

Does scone rhyme with bone or with gone? (Answer incorrectly and I keel you...)
Bone. Man I'd love a scone right now

If you could be a fictional character from any TV show, who would it be?
Brennan from Bones! Or on a totally superficial level, Naomi from 90210.

Favourite McBain moment from the Simpsons?
That's the joke. A friend and I recently spent a good half hour in a restaurant quoting and laughing at McBain. Dirty looks were thrown

If you had to be reborn and live your whole life as either a skanger, an emo or a stereotypical D4-head, which would you pick?
I would say skanger, but the complete lack of style would kill me, so I'd have to say D4-head.. best of a bad bunch really.

As in kisses and hugs? x is a kiss, o is a hug.

    Do you enjoy Gossip Girl?
I do not, as every single actor irritates me.

What's your favourite show ever apart from Gossip Girl if you do enjoy that?
    Non-applicableeeee

    Do you like candy floss?
Yeah, but I haven't had it in ages!

Do you work/go to college? :)

Oops most of these have been answered. *crosses out*

Chloe iiiiiiis a perfume by one of my top three favourite designers, and it smells incredible.
    Skintwin wrote: »

    Of course!

    Download or Oxegen?
Never been to either, but I'm gonna go with Oxegen because it has a much broader lineup, and stuff you can dance to. PLUS a Penneys stand!

Bell X 1 or Snow Patrol?
Bell X1, based on the fact that one of our two TY songs was one by Snow Patrol (the other being Soco Amaretto Lime.. aaaaw yea!), and whenever I think of them I just hear twenty untuned guitars playing the intro to that particular song, completely out of time with each other. And a guy in Spain sang it in karaoke literally every single night I was there. In three different bars. GET OUT
I am now besotted with the slow loris. Can you get me one? :pac:
If I ever go to the Phillippines or China, I'll bring you back one! We'll have to share it though, 'cause they're endangered and all.

    Can you drive?
Nope, I've no need to seeing as buses run here every five minutes, plus the Luas is five minutes from my house and pretty much anything I need is in walking distance! Might have to learn for college though.

What subjects will you do next year in the LC?
Irish, English, German, Biology, Chemistry, Ag Science, History and Maths! All HL, except for maths.

    Favourite shop?
I've no one favourite shop in particular.. probably River Island or Aldo for shoes, Penneys for basic stuff and Zara for everything else!

    Shoes or bags?
D: how could you do this to me?! I have more shoes than bags, but I'd rather invest in a pricey bag than pricey shoes! So.. both?

Where would you like to travel to?
France, Italy, Vancouver, Boston, New York, New Jersey, California, Vegas, South Africa, southwestern Africa for the wildlife, and Thailand.

    Would you/have you ever done a J1?
Haven't done one, but I definitely do want to!
    Any allergies?
Persil washing powder! And something acidic, there's something in the stuff that makes jellies sour and different fruits that makes my tongue blister and swell for a few hours... still doesn't stop me though.

Is a Jaffa Cake a biscuit or a cake?
Cause of the size, I'd say a biscuit (cmon, that's one measly cake!), but cause it's not crunchy I'd say cake? Tiny cakes?

    Shaken or stirred?
Stirred. James Bond did not know his Martinis

    Left or right?
    Left!

    Up or down?
    Up

To bee or not to bee?
    Bees are cute

The best of times or the worst of times?
    ... blurst
    MavisDavis wrote: »

    Slow loris love! <3

Would you care to tell us about your recurring dream involving Kevin Bacon (seems like an odd, interesting one. :P)?
It was terrifying D: I'd seen The River Wild with my dad and sister, and basically in the dream, he and I were on a boat on the river, and he was drowning me over the side.. but every time I'd almost pass out he'd drag me back out and grin really menacingly at me! I was only a child D:

Do you prefer coloured lights or white lights on a Christmas tree?
    I don't mind, once they're not blue!

    Why won't it stop raining?
Because Irish people need to be miserable, and sun would make us happy.

What was the best concert you've ever been to?
Not just saying this cause they're my favourite band, but definitely Brand New. The set was amazing (two and a half hours, half of the first album, the entire second album, half of the third), their energy was unreal, and they can really play their instruments. And Kíla too, I'd never actually been to a gig where the audience were more tired than the band!
    Fad wrote: »

I actually just really enjoy demagnetising things...

    Did you enjoy Daisy?
At first, I didn't, but that was probably because I was in a ''NOTHING CAN EVER TOP TDAG AHGDAGHOIDG'' mindset, but it's definitely my favourite album out of the four now. Vin definitely needs to write more songs, Gasoline is probably my favourite on the album.
