    RIGHT

    1.What was your college degree?
    History and English, originally.
    2. Do you exist?
In all alternate universes in which you exist, yes.

    Our bond is strong!!
    3. Come to a beers ya bollix(?) :p
Not if you're gonna call me names!!1! :(

    /cries
    4. Ah now, do you actually really exist? :pac:
For all values of X between zero and infinity, yes.
    5. Taste in music? :)
Pretty open-minded, but keep house and techno and such out of my ears ... anything which is basically computer noise though a loudspeaker, in fact.
    6. How did you first come to find tNf?
I think I may have posted in the Forum Request thread for it, though I couldn't swear to it.
    7. Where do ye hail from originally?
Very originally, West Kerry. Was hauled around the place a lot as a youngster though.

Yep, I like most animals really. I'd probably prefer dogs to cats as a general rule, but I've known some cats who were such characters that they transcended that baseline.
    lil'bug wrote: »

Hmmm ... that kind of bluey-green sea colour, I guess.

    koth wrote: »

Normally spirits, but it can vary a bit depending on circumstances.

I love good whisky, but would normally only go that direction if I was on a civilised outing and not going to be having more than one or two.

If it was going to be a long night, prob. bacardi and coke, I find it very forgiving.
    koth wrote: »

Greece, or the Greek Islands to be specific.
    koth wrote: »
country you haven't been to that you'd like to visit?
    All of them! :o

Specifically, probably Italy, which strangely enough I haven't hit yet.
    koth wrote: »

Speak them, no, not at this stage.

I used to have quite good Spanish, but it's gone incredibly rusty through lack of use. I can still puzzle my way though written Spanish if I have a bit of time, but speaking it is beyond me at this stage. When lolly was around, we used to mutter at one another in Spanish the odd time just to make the rest of ye feel paranoid!! :P :D

And like most people I have a few words of Gaeilge, but it's extremely bacach!

    Jabba the Hut? >_>

I really haven't a clue tbh, I'm pretty celebrity-phobic, the development of the cult of the celebrity is one thing that kind of annoys me about advances in modern communication / media technologies.
    Kojak wrote: »
Do you believe in a free and Democratic Libya?
Only in the sense that I believe in the Flying Spaghetti Monster ... if the theory that everything you could ever imagine exists somewhere in a parallel universe holds true, then somewhere it exists!
    Kojak wrote: »

I had a moustache briefly in my late teens ... it was a mistake!

I've never had a beard per se, though I do occasionally flaunt some facial scruff when I'm just too lazy to shave! :pac:

Treat others as you would like to be treated.

Try to finish each day having done somebody a bit of good, no matter how small.

Life is too serious to be taken seriously.

Keep your powder dry and your weapon wet!

Greek islands; an archaeological / historical site to explore in the morning; sea, sun, sand, swimming and a bit of scenery in the afternoon; a nice dinner and a stroll in the cool evening air; a few drinks and a few laughs with friends.
    LZ5by5 wrote: »

Oh, hell, I wish I knew, LZ!

Easy enough with the younger ones ... go to college, get your degree, do a postgrad, ride out the storm and hope to hell it will have passed by the time you have that much done!

For those who have already gotten to that stage, it's a hell of a lot less clear.

To be open to anything, I suppose, even to going abroad for a couple of years if circumstances allow.

I wasn't under the affluence of incohol, but I was probably pretty sleep deprived all right!

The first pair which match (kind of!).

Not a sweet eater, really; biscuits: anything with *real* chocolate.
    Sharrow wrote: »
What song to you find yourself singing/humming and when you catch yourself wince?
Oh lord, that happens me so often!

I went to a school which was very heavily into music (though I can't sing a note myself) and they did a musical every year. Many of the songs from those re-emerge from my subconscious at odd times, and I go around singing the Gaudeamus or Drink! Drink! Drink! or Gortnamona out of tune and off-key. On one occasion I was cheerfully cooking dinner to the strains of I'm Just a Girl Who Can't Say No! to the amusement of my visitors ... >.<
    Sharrow wrote: »
What talent do you wish you had?
To actually be able to sing / play an instrument. Myself and my mother were the only two non-musical people in an extended family of musicians and singers, and it's something I would love to be able to do.
    Sharrow wrote: »

No idea, but hopefully it will not be immediately after two late nights of drinking homemade cocktails, and I will be at least semi-awake.

    Will Shakespeare.

I have always wanted to know the truth, and in vino veritas.

    I'm sorry! :(

I'm the renegade, the philistine of the forum.

When Cyber put up one of his first battle-threads I recognised 3 protagonists out of (I think) 32! :o

William Shakespeare, Charles Dickens, Stephen Fry, Angelina Jolie and Karen Gillan.

Anyone else, maybe... you? eh... :p

    1. Who's your greatest hero in life (apart from me, of course. Need to give others a chance)
    2. Have your tits healed yet?
    3. For someone that could rattle off history like you were there on the day (In most cases i'd argue you probably were :pac:), you've awful trouble remembering a few small facts about every car I ever happen to see. Is it getting harder to teach the old dog new tricks? :p
    4. Most painful experience ever (listening to me doesn't count for this one)
    5. Boardsie you'd most like to spend a day with
    6. Will you ever stop bobbing your head like an epileptic racoon having a seizure when I've music on in the car?
    7. Do you find it ironic that you keep getting paid less for work, and keep getting more modships tossed at you as well?
    8. Do you want a flashlight for your birthday? :p

Stay the fk away from me with that catheter!

In fairness, they weren't bad at all, that was the problem.
    1. Who's your greatest hero in life (apart from me, of course. Need to give others a chance)
You? ... hero? ... yeah, right.

Kind of like Andrew Wells was a hero in Buffy! :P

Not sure I have one hero, really, but people I would admire include Martin Luther King, Hélder Câmara, Rosa Parks, Paulo Freire ...
    2. Have your tits healed yet?
You'll have crushed gingernuts when I get you! :p

History is interesting, and has much to teach us about to-day and how not to make the same mistakes all over again in every generation ... if we were only willing to learn.

You're the carosexual, not me! :p

While I like sexeh cars and enjoy motorsports, I don't

    noyphh.jpg

about them the way you do!!
    4. Most painful experience ever (listening to me doesn't count for this one)
Damn, that means I'll have to think about it! >.<

    Looking at you? :D

    /ducks
    5. Boardsie you'd most like to spend a day with
Kerist, in the middle of the bs you ask the odd good question.

The first answer that comes to mind is too painful, and springs from regret that I never got round to fulfilling a promise which I made lightly and with never a thought that the time to keep it would be limited.

So I'm going to go with TarA, on the basis that the two of us ganging up on you would be some bloody laugh! :P
    6. Will you ever stop bobbing your head like an epileptic racoon having a seizure when I've music on in the car?
Nope, it aggravates you waaaaay too much! :D
    7. Do you find it ironic that you keep getting paid less for work, and keep getting more modships tossed at you as well?
The first is the wonders of modern Ireland; as to the second, I guess it's down to my inability to say no.

Except to you ofc, but then I've been practising saying no to you for years! :pac:
    8. Do you want a flashlight for your birthday? :p
No, thanks all the same, I have no need of one ...

... I see better in the dark than in bright light!

    More questions.....

What is the one song you would have played at your funeral.
Do you think that McGyver could make a nucleur bomb out of an old chewing gum wrapper, a toothpick and a carton of smokes?
What has been your biggest achievement in life to date?
Would you name any of your kids (or future kids) after yourself?
