Seriously though why on earth would you want to get divorced at 81?

    81 is the new forty.

    Irreconcilable differences?

He'll be over the moon to be rid of her!

He probably just wants his own space.......

    Sorry............

He's probably getting loads of attention from young burds after being in the Toy Story movies.

Jee I dunno, maybe because wife resembles a motherfúcking GREMLIN?

I know it's got to be well past my bedtime. I was thinking this was about Buzz Lightyear, and I had to take a moment to ponder in which of the films this marriage had taken place.

    To insolvency and beyond!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,570 ✭✭✭Elmidena

He wants her out of the will!

I too admit to reading it as mister Lightyear at first glance. Oh Disney, what have you done

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,632 ✭✭✭NoQuarter

He said his wife was just from Venus and he was from Mars!

Why waste the next twenty years on something that isn't working?

Well, I suppose if you were 81 you wouldn't be thinking to yourself, 'there's no point in getting divorced I'll be dead soon'.

If the woman is wrecking his head he probably wants to rid himself of her.

I heard him and Neil Armstrong f*cked each other in space so they could see what zero gravity sex was like.

Tries hard to think of a good moon/space pun..................er "Heuston, we/Buzz, has a problem!"

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,939 ✭✭✭ballsymchugh

he's still suffering from being the 2nd person in every relation(space)ship...

    i'm dreadfully sorry.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,900 ✭✭✭General General

He heard Crystal Harris is looking for 'a model with "less years on the clock"'...

Rumour is circulating too that he's said; if I can fake a moon landing, why can't my wife fake the occasional orgasm?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 819 ✭✭✭sixpack's little hat

Better watch what you say about Buzz

Not really. This is what actually happened.

Once it's done, I bet he rockets out of that courtroom.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 476 ✭✭bc dub

maybe he's going to pursue his boxing career, not as if theres a shortage of people who dont believe in the landing to punch...

So am I getting this right? This woman looks rather alien so perhaps she's just visiting from outerspace.....

Wouldn't it be awesome if on his deathbed he said "we faked it"

Getting divorced at 81......well that's just out of this world

    SORRY!

I heard that their problems started in the bedroom. He resented the fact that she always wanted to come first.

The honey-moon period, long as it was, had obviously come to an end..

Three of the twelve men who walked on the moon are now dead and so far they've all stuck with their story to the end.

Second comes right after first (according to Aldrin anyway)

In a vacuum... I'd imagine that for Mr. Lightyear the gravity of the situation just became overwhemlming to the point where he finally had to reach escape velocity and just fly off at a tangent and shoot for the stars.

    I hate myself.

    i think buzz is great
to that guy he punched when he was in his 70's all i can think of how i respect him more. he was doorstepped and from the clip shown earlier on this thread that guy deserved it sooooo bad. you do something that is (pun intended) out of this world and some guy calls you a fraud and a fake over it!!
its been countlessly proven that what he did was real i.e. the moon landing.
all the moon walkers suffered problems when they got home. its understandable really as they are they only ones to see the earth for what it is.....a spinning globe of greatness and awfulness in one. how could you not have problems after seeing that.
i think neil armstrong may have had it right when he got home. he just dissappeared for all purposes. i dont think anyone can fault buzz or any of the other moon walkers (or even michael collins) for not following armstrongs lead. there is a reason he was picked to go first after all.
after hearing he as filed for divorce i feel bad. this is the guy who saw the whole planet in one glance yet is still alone. it doesnt seem right to me.

That sh*t & obvious pun was already made by the OP - why did you think it would be funny to do it again?

If your gag needs to be bolded & written in caps for people to get it, is it really worth posting at all?

People in AH are so predictable and unfunny.
