Has anyone tried this? I did a class on Monday night and have been in bits ever since!! I'm going to drag myself along to another one night. I'm hoping to do 2-3 classes a week and just wondered when do you start seeing results?
I'm female and don't need to lose weight but I really want to tone up and this sounded like the best class to do for arms.
    Thanks
    Jo

Only 10 million hits. Makes you wonder what the rest of the world do be watching! A great routine though, she demonstrates very well in all her videos how easy it is to get in shape from home.

I do be watching Marianne :D:D:D

Home workouts using Body weight and kettlebells. And I just love her soft Belfast accent :o:o

    Enjoy

I'm sure the OP is delighted with the responses to her initial post.....

If it's Les Mills BodyPump classes you're referring to, yes they are an absolute killer. It's the most popular class at SanoVitae.

Many very strong guys are often amazed how tough it is and their egos take a real bashing when there are slim girls use heavier weights than them for the exercises during the class!

I think the bodypump classes are great, but you really need to make sure you have the right weight for each excersise and that you move up the weights as you train. If you are using too light a weight, then you're not going to get anything out of the classes after a while!

    Hey OP,

My girlfriend goes to a body pump class twice a week and loves it. She's seen pretty good results with them, it's the first bit of structured/class workouts she's done. Wouldn't be my first choice for working out but it suits her.
As with anything though if you're fighting against a bad diet no amount of exercise will help you 'tone up'.

    BodyPump is excellent IMHO.
You need to be doing it 2 (or 3) times a week to improve.

See here, as long as you're not allergic to Ozzie accents - "sheep your ligs" - http://www.lesmills.com/global/bodypump/learn-the-moves.aspx
