Mullingar is mentned in it alright, but I dont recognise any of the places. Maybe it was somewhere around Mullingar, Ballymahon or Killucan or somewhere like that.

I'm especially interested in the scene where they rob the garage. Finding out where thas was is something I have to do before I die!!!!

Is that the one called "The Concorde Lounge" in the film, or the other one in Cork where Git gets bet up?

The nightclub scenes at the start were filmed in Dowling's Pub in Prosperous, Co. Kildare. The nightclub is closed now but the pub is still open.
I'm pretty sure the garage scene was filmed in Clane, Co. Kildare. There's been some major development done on that site in the meantime.

    The "boom boom rooms"???

That was just put up for the film. There used to be a Dance Hall behind the garage known locally as Behan's Hall. It's a gym now.

On again there on rte2, it’s a great quirky little movie.

Was there any reason it took them 25 years to resolve the feud or did it just not make sense?
