Name of good snes emulator?

    Does anyone know the name of a good snes emulator for mac and also a good place to download games for it?

    I use the Snes9x for my boyfriend's Mac. Can't remember where he downloaded games though, found one site doing all the old Mario games which was all I wanted it for. :D

    Same, use Snes9x. You can set up a PS3 joypad to work through Bluetooth handy enough as well.

    Cheers for that. Silly question but I went to snes9x.com and can't seem to find anywhere to download it.

    Only got around to downloading snes9x now. CHeers for the help. Where's the best place to find loads of snes games to download?

    On a side note, all this emulator stuff got me thinking about a good PS2 emulator (I never got to play Final fantasy XII) Is PCSX2 any good?

    Distribution of ROMs is illegal and can't be discussed on the site, I'm afraid. But google is your friend.

    I haven't used Snes9x in years. Didn't know you could use the PS3 controller with it, must try it out.

    Distribution of ROMs is not in of itself illegal; the legality or otherwise of distribution comes down to the copyright and licensing situation of the particular ROM in question.

    On that subject I installed Windows 7 on my iMAC as a dual using boot-camp.


    I miss something when I don't have it.

    Mac OS is crap for games but Windows is just crap.

    However I am glad I have the option to boot into Windows because if I did not have it I would want it.:D


    If you want to play games console is the only way to go.
