I hate what has happened to this country's youths, and especially shocked at the youth in Fethard. I have always found fethard children friendly and respectful, but, recently it the youth have opted for smoking, drinking, taking drugs and vandalism. just last night i saw three teens smoking who knows what and i was shouted abuse as i walked home, feeling intimadated i kept on walking and ignored them but if we dont teach our kids some respect they will all become so called "Scumbags"
Here we go again! More housing developments planned for Fethard,more people to shop local-boosting the local economy,more business'to open-giving more local employment,more amienity areas-nice walkways, parks,playgrounds etc.,more money to spend in Fethard-to keep the streets clean,houses painted and maintain a beautiful town and more children to ensure our wonderful schools remain open.But no! Wait for it!The objectors are back!!Harrington's 50 houses blocked.Cooneys 59 houses blocked and run down derelict houses littering the town because people dont know what to do with them,even though they are tax designated!!Welcome to Fethard the only "not in my back yard" town in the country !!!!!!!!!!!
