Is multiroom subject to minimum contract

We have a Digital+HD box which is just beyond the 12 month contract. I was thinking of getting a second one on a multiroom subscription, but I was wondering does that lock me in again to a 12 month contract?

From what I can remember yes it does. I got an extra multiroom dvr a few years back and was told it would be a new contract, unless things have changed in the meantime.
