    HI all,

I just picked up a little staff bull terrier yesterday. She is a little girl and so far the only name we have come up with is Brandi.

Just wondering if any of you have any good/creative suggestions for a name.

    Thanks in advance :)

    I've attached a pic below

What a delightful little beauty! I wish you many years of happiness with her. In a way, she reminds me of a character on Star Trek Deep Space Nine, the Ferengi barkeeper with the huge ears. I think his name is Quark. How about that for her?:)

Christ. Can't people name their own pets/kids anymore!?!

Maybe you shouldn't own a dog if you can't even name her without help.

How about Terra, or Gaia. Maia, the roman goddess of the earth. Or Zola, means a lump of earth :P I like naming animals something to do with what they are or what they were for, and as staffs are terriers, coming from the latin word terra for earth

    Lexi, Pip, Lulu, Milly.

Spend a few days with her, a name that suits her will soon just stick. Always nice to have a story behind her name rather than 'a random bunch of loonys from the animal & pets section on boards picked it'.

    Cara - she's a bit cara-mel coloured.

I like Manuka too, I think it's cute, but remember this is a name you'll be calling out loud in the park for the next umpteen years, so go with something you're happy with

she is just gorgeus! Liking your own idea - brandi - suits her colouring. apparently its good to give a dog a name ending in i, y or ie - they learn their name more quickly.
