    Hi

I have been thinking for doing the 7 day cabbage soup diet just to give me a start in my diet. Afterwards then to embark on a healthy eating plan. At the moment I live an hour from work in a town where there isn't many places to go for a walk or a run. But I am moving next week to be closer to work and family to a seaside town with plenty of scenic routes. I just want a good start and then I know it will give me the motivation to keep going.

Has anyone tried this and did you feel it worked for you. I know its not a long term solution.:)

    Hey There,

WW or Unislim in my opinion is the only way to go. I have done the cabbage soup diet and yes you will drop lots of lbs but you will put them straight back on and another few for good measure. Trust me its what happens.
I have lost alot of weight with my local unislim meeting and cant recommend it enough. Healthy eating and watch the carbs and booze .

    Good LucK, B

OP, all fad diets like the cabbage soup diet or Weight Watchers cause weight gain in the end. You need to learn about food and nutrition, start by reading the sticky here.

The cabbage soup diet won't give you motivation to get slim or healthy. It will make you cranky, exhausted and depleted of vitamins and nutrients. It will also make you want to eat everything in sight once you finish.

Try reading this forum instead. Start with the stickied threads at the top of the page and go from there. It's much easier, much more enjoyable and you won't cry yourself to sleep in hunger!
