Looking for Dairy Free products

    Hey folks

I have to do a dairy free exclusion diet for a number of weeks just to check my tolerance. So instead of using my normal milk I have to opt for Rice or Almond Milk and I guess dairy free yogurts, cheese etc. Just wanted to ask if anyone can recommend anywhere in Dublin City Centre that would do these products (primarily the Rice or Almond milk) and be somewhat affordable? Anytime I have seen these in shops they tend to be quite expensive. Thanks :)

Almond milk does tend to be quite expensive (around the €4 mark) but you should be able to pick up rice milk in Tesco/Dunnes for a reasonable price.

Dont forget hazelnut or oat milk too - although these are more pricey than the rice milk. Any reason you have not included soya milk? Its probably the cheapest one of all. I buy the provamel organic unsweetned one and its 1.29 a litre.

You can get the Alpro yoghurts in the usual supermarkets. I tend to buy the Sojade one from health food shops/Dublin food co-op and mix in some Meridian organic fruit spread.

Most dairy free cheese is horrible. There are quite a few recipes around for nut cheeses which seem to be easy to make. I have yet to try it but this looks good.
