    So,

.. So, lads, what should I do to be coping with this?

    Just wait a while.
No need to use up energy on worrying until you've seen the results.

To a Bar to drown my sorrows?
I like that idea (if a little bit of a cliché)

You are alive, you are not sick, you have a bed and food. It's only an exam, no one died.

    .

If you'd spent less time ogling people's mas, you might have studied harder and gained more confidence in your abilities.

    Laugh at it :)
I failed it and I'm now living in a nice hot country with a beautiful wife and high paying managerial job, its not the end of the world, its a piece of paper that shows you went to school!
passing and failing it have little meaning to anyone but yourself and your own desires! If you know what you want to do in life, focus on that, don't let a piece of paper stop you.

I think the OP is referring to College results.

I failed and now I have to unclog toilets with my bare hands.

I'd be worried if I were you.

    Yeah,

Lads, This is a college exam, not my leaving cert!

Don't be a girl about it...unless you're a girl that is! I failed my exams in spectacular fashion in first year, and now I'm sleeping rough most nights, suffer from scabies and rickets, and make the little money that I have begging and volunteering for painful and invasive medical experiments. So it's not all negative!!

seriously, failed exams, didn't bother repeat them that August, and just repeated the year instead. No big deal. Extra year in college FTW!!

I failed too,I'm now Managing Director of my own company. The company is failing dismally however, I employ no one,the banks won't lend me money and credit card companies phone me night and day looking for their money. On a positive note I'm considering going back to repeat my junior cert.

Yeah I am! They are out at in the afternoon today! Does anyone know if major colleges in Dublin still post the results on paper and hang them up in the corridors of the college? The waiting to check them online is killing me! :(

Don't you have to pay substantial fees to repeat the year? Wouldn't it be cheaper to sit the repeats?

I get my results this day week. What a horrible, horrible way to start the weekend.

I'm in the same boat, made an absolute balls of the year, not even going out every night or anything just sitting around doing nothing, so pissed off with myself.

Results next friday or monday. Won't be able repeat the year either due to financial restraints unless, anyone wanna give me a few grand?

At least you can hit the drink heavy for the whole weekend afterwards. Mine are on monday

In UL at least if you fail a module the payment structure means you only have to pay for the ones your repeating, which is like 400 or something per class. Its quite a lot of craic doing only one class for an entire year, get a part-time job or just take it easy.

Yeah, I did. I was a silly boy! Point is though, regardless of repeating the entire year, or just the exams themselves in August, it's far from the end of the world.
