So did anyone get a real devil this year?
Mines soooo nice, he cracked a few jokes before the exam, and hes a quick as lightning when you put your hand up for anything :L
Theres about 80 people in my exam hall, the lc's and us jc's are all in together, i always feel so bad when our exam is over and loads of people start talking on the way out, silly people :pac:
Though we keep getting hailstone showers every so often (about every 20 mins) and the roof is galvanised so it makes an awefully loud noise... and a bird seems to have a habit of walking around 'tap tap tap tap' etc. for about 10 mins every so ofter....
ah well, i might bring earplugs tomorrow :L
the guy behind me isnt very bothered about these exams either, he leaves after about 35 mins, but while he's theyre hes constantly tapping his foot and clicking his pen :/
    grr

So how about all of ye?

We have three, for about 130-ish people, maybe? One of them seems to be halfway between competent and useless; she kept letting people out during the last ten minutes of Irish Paper Two, which they're not supposed to, but she seems to be fairly on-the-ball when you put up your hand. The other two are just decent guys; one went around taking up your exam paper during the last ten minutes if you wanted to leave as soon as you could, and not wait for all the papers to be collected up. The other one is on the other side of the room from me, so I don't know what he's like at all.

Our supervisor is quite nice. Some (other) people like how she turns around a lot... ;)

There's two exam centres in the hall I'm in, the supervisor I have is really nice and happy (female), but the one on the other side of the room has a really deep voice and talks really slowly (female) :pac:

    They seem like exact opposites

Were just in a classroom about 40 people. She's sound and knows what she's doing

My one is a little annoying. She constantly walks around and all you can hear is TAP TAP TAP! of her heels. -_- She's also very strict and doesn't seem to say anything other then when the exams are about to start and she needs to point out the rules etc.

I'm in a classroom with about 15-20 others so I'm grand with that. :D

Mine is lovely,he's about a middle aged man,not sure of his accent.
Was very nice to me considering,I erm taped one of my paers together....
Yeah...looong story. You know the sticky thing? Yeah, whatever happened it got stuck together(not the writng pages thank God!) the flap yolk :p It's hard to explain, but the examiners should be able to open it with a scissors :P the man said it would be grand but I had to fold up the extra paper I got to put it into the exam sheets...yeah I f*cked up that paper...the writing should be accessible though..anyone know if I'll lose marks for that, despite the writing not being damaged?

You wont loose marks if everythings still there they're marking your knowledge not paper-sticking-skills :p
Anyhow, my supervisor is kinda dim... Everybody started making that BRRR sound with their lips and she either didnt notice or ignored it, and shes caught me talking twice now, and she just stared at me :L oh and she spilled her tea... The whole exam centre laughed, and its a pity, shes nice and the tea was probably nice too...

My guy is quite old, approaching seventy in my opinion. physical health is deteriorating I think.

He's nice though, gave me a full five minutes extra in Irish paper 2. :)

There's an annoying bird somewhere in our roof or something too! And the roof is galvanised also so when it rains it's really loud. Our supervisor is nice enough too and made a few jokes also. Although most people are afraid to laugh!

My guys some Norn' Iron' fella. He let me change level in maths, so upmost respect to the man!

He hasn't cautioned anyone thus far, but all the HL people are together, and they generally behave. We were allowed earphones (not to wear lol) and electronic devices, but he just told us to turn them off. He didn't check though. Been going great so far, hope that doesn't jinx my next exam/ next week.

Mine is about 30-ish. She's a nice blonde. ;) She usually sees me taking my earphones out of my phone and then I put both in to my bag, she seems to be fine with it. Wouldn't give me an extra minute or so earlier to finish my geography. :(

Mine's a pretty sound chap, We're not allowed to bring in bags, coats, phones etc but he's perfectly all right in class. About 25 of us in class, so that's fine too.

I'm in a tiny little room with about 10 others. My guy is sooo lovely, and he actually doesn't kill us if we talk during the exams. :P I love him! I want to keep him forever!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 68 ✭✭ohdechertig

Our's is pretty boring, the only time he talks is when he tells us there's 5 minutes left in each exam!

I left an hour early in Maths today, and the supervisor came over to me, asked if I was done, and when I responded affirmatively, he said "Nice one". IMMD.

    Mine's not pregnant ! :pac:

Just whatever dress type thing she was wearing yesterday ! :P

Mine's really annoying. We have just 30ish people in the room. He likes to go half asleep so that on 3 occaisions now Ive been left waiting over 5 minutes for extra paper. In English it was such a pain as it happened moree than once. Wasting my time. I also have an ant infestation at my desk :/ Im afrain there'll be squished ants in my paper. :L

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,228 ✭✭✭robman60

Just to reinforce my opinion of our guy as really nice, he let me borrow colouring pencils today which involved me going to a number of tables. He rarely gets out of his seat, but sure who could blame him?

My supervisor is an older woman, who is useless. She asked me in the middle of Irish paper 1 for a sharpener and she depends on me for the right time when she sets the clock.

I like our room, something like 15 people in it. Our supervisor's okay...nothing special, just talks real quiet..

We have five supervisors in our hall.

I have a middle-aged man. He has a limp and he kind of has to march when he is walking. He is very nice but not too attentative. The other supervisors often have to come over and tell him when someone has their hand up. I feel sorry for him though because he is nice.

My supervisor keeps staring at me whenever I'm doing my paper, and then when I look back she quickly looks over somewhere else.
    Is it just me?
