Has anyone used this and if so would you recommend it?

I started a weights programme a few weeks ago and my aim is to gain some muscle mass in a safe and effective way. I am quite thin and light so my aim is NOT to become huge or anything like that. I was told by a nutritionist that this is one of the most natural supplements so I like that.

Anyway its on universalnutrition.ie for 45e which is very slightly more expensive than others but it does have next day delivery.

Is this a good buy, and if not what other good alternatives are out there.

    Cheers :)

tried it before. it tastes really nice but its a crazy price. myprotein is better value and delivery is only roughly €5 for a 5kg bag.

do you need any qualifications to call yourself a nutritionist?

As its no more natural that any other of the generic protein.
It's Whey Protein Concentrate & Isolate, Egg protein and Milk Protein Isolate (caesin?)

Anyway, these are the same basic proteins used in all products, they come from natural sources, but its very much processed. The above no more natural than any of the far cheaper products out there.

Well she's a qualified nutritionist and she suggested it after her sons wanted a supplement, she did the research and this is the one she picked. I dont know, it's all new to me.

I've seen cheaper ones, but the reviews for Myofusion are generally very good, and from what I've seen the other ones aren't much cheaper anyway. But obviously I'm open to suggestion.

You missed my point, "nutritional qualifications" is vague at best, I'm not commentign on your firend, but lots of people have "qualifictions" that are meaningless.

Did she say why it was best? I love to hear her reasoning.

I'm not saying there is anything wrong with it, its no better or worse than many of the other availible (ignoring price), i'm jsut surprise that her research didn't uncover this.

And already you're looking to take supplements??

How about just eating good, ordinary food first?

Eat lots of carbs and protein and at regular intervals..thats all you need, not fancy-sounding garbage taht probably "tastes nice".
