Having read this thread I have decided to buy 1k worth of bonds, was also thinking of buying €50 a week, would the €50 be subject to the three month wait or would it just be added to the 1k?

seriously? this thread would be driving me away from it
you'd be much better off putting it in a savings account judging by these returns

I was going to get a loan a buy a car, instead I have decided to save, so it will be only in savings short term, may as well have it in prize bonds as in rabodirect.

i have won today for the first time.

    the website says:
In order to claim your prize you should write to us at the address below, enclosing your bond certificate.

do i really have to send in my original certificate?
what if it gets lost in the post?

How much did you win? I won 75 a few weeks ago and it said the same but I got a cheque in the post the following week without sending them anything.

Found this thread by accident (great stuff I have to say) and I thought to myself - I haen't seen many ads for Prize bonds in a while - you have singlehandedly raised their revenue and lowered their ad budget lol - every few posts people are buying PBs. You should ask for commision:)

Off to get me some lol..

    Keep up the good work.

If I were you, I would check the winning numbers against the amount, and find out how much I won.

I would be reluctant to send any bond away in the post. Check it out first.

Congrats, by the way ! Hope its a good amount !
