    Hi there,

    I'm looking to get into a more normal and healthy shape, i was told recently by my doctor i have below average cholesterol, im about 5'9 and weight about 11st, maybe 11.5. 30 years old

    my problem is, i have like widish waist and chest, and got a bit of a belly on me now, and kinda little bit gettin man boobs :P

    but i have really skinny arms legs and neck lol. so when i wear a tshirt, it fits my chest and waist kinda, but my arms and neck are thin!

    basically what i want to know is, should i just do weights to bulk up my arms and neck? to kinda even myself out a bit?

    should i maybe use those protein drink things to help me along?

    eat a lot of protein - or even take shakes.

    then sing "daft punk are playing in my house"

    and have lots of sex.

    if you are not getting the figure you want - you need to eat more protein and have more sex.

    if in doubt have more sex.

    hmmm I wrote that under the influence of a bottle of red. good advice though.

    OP in fairness my glib response last night is quite valid.

    find a weights program that suits your goal. The one I recommended will chnage your body composition as well as making your fitter/stronger.

    But you need a decent diet - foods are outlined in the stickies. But basically eat more fruit, veg, meat, fish and less ****e

    cheers mate, but basically im not so worried about my weight, i think decent weight will come with exercise, but you think i should wights and protein it up?

    won't protein give me more of a stomach?

    No mate, protein is an essential part of building muscle. You can do as many exercises as you want but without protein, you won't get any muscle.

    The thing that will give you more of a stomach is calories.
