Use a false grip when benching because it puts the bar over your forearm bone.

    Its not funny.

Tkes a lot of pressure off your thumb and could argue that it puts you in a marginally stronger position tbh.

    "what age would they be"

    "40's I guess"

    "you're 21"

    "**** it a ride is a ride"

That's good for you, and I'm happy you've no thumb issue... but some guys have who've been training ages and putting up serious weight find it more comfortable to press thumbless.

Suppose it's f*cking stupid to keep doing something that allows them to train more alright.

Look, you're gonna need to get over me.
I get that now the big fish is gone you see yourself as the big fish and thats cool.
But this following me around the forum having snipes at me to massage your ego......its kind of lame really.

I'm pretty much gonna keep posting when I see fit. No amount of snotty comments or HILARIOUSLY hypocritical comments on my posting style are gonna change that,

And whats more, yeah, I think its ****ing stupid either way. And I'm gonna just disregard your point cos I'm pretty sure as much as you want to pretend it doesn't it'll drive you nuts.

    Stupid thumbless benching.

Mods: This thread will be the Annoying Gym Behavior thread before you can say boo.

I've never been fishing before, I don't even like fish and I post the exact same as I have for the last 4 years I've been contributing to this forum.

How is this a snipe? "Tkes a lot of pressure off your thumb and could argue that it puts you in a marginally stronger position tbh." - you said it was f*cking stupid, I said it's not. If you want to just put your fingers in your ears and head in the sand tho, that's cool.

    How is THIS a snipe?

You don't have the perspective on the small things that build up over time that can hold you back from training, which is kind of sad. If you need to take your thumbs off to keep going, then it's not f*cking stupid.

And it's ironic that you talk about ego tho and accuse me of following you around the forum. If I was going to follow someone it's be someone worth following. Like L.

The good thing about public forums... Unfortunately.

I'm still waiting for a reason other than because you said so.

OP unfortunately these threads rarely go well - one man's broscience is another man's gospel.
