garmin nuvi 310 forgotten pass code

    the auld lad has a garmin nuvi 310, but he has forgotten the pass code.i have tried resetting it at the original location, but it wont unlock.

    Im clueless when it comes to sat navs, is there any downloadable unlock programme or anything that i could use to sort it out.

    I have the original box and manuals ect.

    all help would be very much appreciated
