    I was talking to a guy with a body shop & he was telling me that for really stubborn sun cream stains he goes at it with a heat gun. I didn't see this in action or anything but he says it sweats it out of the lacquer.
    Then finish it off with a decent polish followed up with a wax or sealant.

    I tried petrol first, seems to have made a difference to the silver car, much less effect on the black car, also tried WD40 this seems to have worked better but not completely so will have to try the Auto Glym SRP now

    Finally got around to trying to remove my years old mark yesterday, I was using the Meguires scratch x to remove cat scratches from the bonnet so it was either that, or the super resin polish that I used afterwards. All I know is that when I went to tackle it after doing everything else it was gone.

    Halfords are doing a 3 for 2 on wash and detailing stuff at the moment.
