I thought it was a good Raw. They did well with the Kharma send-off. They are handling the Riley/Miz storyline well too although I've zero faith that will last.

One thing that does irk me is that it feels like a lot of promising guys who came over from SD are just lost in the shuffle. I'm thinking of Swagger, Kofi and Dolph mainly. These guys were treated like bigger deals on SD but on Raw they just feel like background scenery. I'd like to see them get more mic time. I'm enjoying the Truth push though. His character is definitely a stand-out right now.

Not fantastic news in the ratings for this weeks Raw, even allowing for the mitigating factors given in the link. Can't say I'm too surprised, it wasn't exactly Must See TV.
WWE Raw on Monday, May 30 scored a 3.07 rating, the lowest since the first two weeks in January and slightly below a 3.08 rating on May 16. It was down from a 3.42 rating last week.

The ratings picture is a mixed bag for the holiday edition of Raw. The overall rating and demographic ratings were close to the low points for the year, but Raw ranked #1 or #2 in key demographics.

As we reported with the TV viewership numbers, Raw trailed History Channel's "Pawn Stars" for the top-rated show on Monday night, and also ranked #2 in adult male demographics. Among younger viewers 12-34 & 12-17, Raw was #1.

Raw was also impacted by special programming, such as Gettysburg, which averaged 3.8 million viewers and scored well among adult male viewers. Also, Discovery's "American Chopper" averaged 3.2 million viewers against the first hour of Raw.

Caldwell's Analysis: Memorial Day holiday + no hook from last week + increase for Randy Savage last week + post-WrestleMania lull season = a down rating. It will be interesting to see what Raw does during the month of June, although the ratings will be skewed by two three-hour editions of Raw later this month. The question is whether this is Raw's water level going into the summer or if they can build an audience without The Rock
