    Hi

    Firstly a little about myself. I am a 30 yr old guy 6 feet tall with a current weight of 19stone. A recent health scare has given me the kick up the backside i needed to realise the need for serious changes in my eating and exercise habits (ie. eating: pretty much anything, exercise: practically none).

    My working knowledge of calorie levels and good eating habits etc. leave a lot to be desired so any advice here would be greatly appreciated.

    As regards exercise I work abroad generally in remote areas with not much in the way of gym facilities.
    So I reckon a program that would involve push-ups,sit-ups and similar activities that dont require much if any equipment would be the best solution. Again any advice would be appreciated.

    Another factor in my new found motivation is a family wedding that is coming up in a few months. It would be great to turn up looking a bit leaner and have the confidence to get photographed rather than hide from the camera like i usually do.
