I play SC2 pretty much every chance i get. Usually it's from 12am when i finish work until whenever i need sleep and from when i wake up until i go back to work. I also have no IRL friends who are into gaming.

Because of this i feel like i am missing a huge part of the SC2 experience by not being in the "scene" as i just play by myself and have nobody to discuss builds etc with.

Anyone got any tips on where to go to find some sparring partners or discussion threads. Teamliquid's forums are a bit intimidating as I'm not exactly what you'd call a grand master league player.

Right here on boards, there's 30+ of us at a lan right now, just hang around on here, or in the chat channel #starcraft.ie here http://webchat.quakenet.org/ or in the starcraft.ie channel in game.

Check for the sparring partner thread on this forum too.
