Another few fellas tried to rob a van down the road from me last night. They ended up reversing it into the wall at the end of the driveway. Bloody scumbags. They legged it upto a waiting car on my street before tearing off up the road.

Something we're all going to have to get used to. Yep I know it sounds like a cop out, but that's the reality of the matter.

You think them scumbags are bad Seany, heard a story this morning of a dead man's house been broken in to and ransacked while the man's funeral was on!! This happened only recently too.
They must be scum of the earth to do it.

I heard it from my brother, he heard it in mass, the priest said it off the altar, called them vermin, he was right though. It happened in a well known rural Waterford Village.

    Dick Forristel?
And when the rescue helicopter crashed in Tramore in 99, i think one of the men's house was raided too while his funeral was taking place.

Unfortunately this is not uncommon. That's why you don't see funeral notices on people's doors anymore.

Just heard on WLR, that St Martin's school has being targetted again by thieves. This is the third time with in a month.

IF the gardaí use their heads on this one they should have no problem in catching them.

Total scumbags. Unfortunately with the times we now live in, its going to become more and more frequent.

Remember hearing about that robbery (Helicopter crash victims ), you would wonder what sorta scum would be about at all.

It was all the copper pipes that was robbed from that school, a scrap merchant would be delighted with it as there is big money in scrap at the moment especially copper.

Nearly sure the bandstand damage is the work of DLS students who had their 6th year grad mass last night.

Stupid kids, wouldn't happen in my day etc.

Apparently three or four of them were arrested under the public order act.

Absolutely ridiculous in vandalising public property like this, lowers the tone of the area and all that. Not good for tourism.
