Going out? What do you take with you?

Going out? What do you take with you?

Every time I go out besides the usual stuff I take with me (money , phone and keys, etc), I take some other stuff too always if possible.

Example: Camera, electronic bug detector, recording device, a pen like device that extents itself with a magnet at the end of it, a multi-tool pen-knive device, a pen and notepad, a plastic bag.
(All the above in a green canvas bag)

I was just wondering if anyone else takes other unusual stuff with them and care to say?

Where would you be headed with that loot where it would be useful?

Do you really need a pointer for heading to the shop?

I always bring a book. You can't be too careful when it comes to boredom. Better to be prepared to amuse yourself, you never know when you might need to. :)

No comment on the first part.
On the latter, the device will seemingly innocent and very useful at times to me, can be used with training (and I'm very trained in a number of martial art areas) as an effective non-lethal weapon for defence. In other words, a device for going for specific nerve conjunction points of the body that can be rendered locked or numb. Allowing one to walk away.

    Phone, wallet, keys, smokes,

    But no matter where I'm going, and no matter how long for;

I will Always take a drink with me, I feel awkward being/going anywhere without a bottle of water or coke or anything, I could go without me bolox, but not a drink.. Even when walking to the pub, which is very close, I will bring a drink for the walk up.. It's not ocd, i think , its just the need for constant hydration..

Leads to needing to have a piss every ten minutes of my life though.. :(

    Chloroform + a napkin is a man's best friend.

1 pocket has me keys and wallet while the other pocket has me phone and fags.

Back pockets did contain shìt-change until they bore a hole in almost every pair of jeans I have. Should really stop putting change there.

    gooch
The piece of skin connecting the scrotum and testes to the poop chute. The gooch is also attached to the bacon strip which is located directly on the undercarriage of the testes.

Let me guess. You're ex-special forces now working in personal security?

Would it not be better to use a multi-band jammer than a bug detector?

    Its 50/50.
Multi-band jammers can be got around (like everything else). I just prefer the detector (one that works up to a higher than normal bandwidth range of 6.5) just to have on me at all times for more accuracy and actual device detection.

I never go anywhere without a pen.

Also, for my 1st couple of months in a new country, i will always have 2 passport photos with me.

It sounds mental but I was amazed at the amount of things you need a passport photo for in some countries. Bank account sir? Passport photo. Blood test sir? Passport photo. Ham sandwich sir? 2 passport photos.

Simple answer is, it depends on the right type of equipment your using to be honest.
Standard industrial are somewhat more limited to searching them out but they are not useless in a good respect. Other tools are available that are better though.
(No more can said said about that though here)
