Strange throbbing pain after exercise

    Hey Guys,
I recently started exercising again. Using the Xbox Kinnect actualy. Nothing too major, just light workouts, like squats etc. A lot of the workouts seem to work your legs.

I last worked out Tuesday. Yesterday and today I have a pulsating pain in my left thigh.
I would say it effects the entire mid section of my thigh. It's not excruciating but it's sore enough that it's annoying and distracting. It's not the usual sore cramping pain you get after exercising either. It does feel "familiar", in that I think I may have felt it in the past, but I can't remember the details or why it might of happened.
Anyone know what this could be, is it normal?

Might be worth mentioning I damaged ligaments in my left knee (possible partial tear) well over a year ago and I am waiting to go for surgery, doc say my left leg has lost a bit of power.
