Inspiron laptop freezes when streaming videos

    Hi, i'm not sure if this is the right place to put this but here goes.

    I recently bought a dell inspiron 1764 laptop off ibood. Laptop

    Whenever i stream a video online it freezes. The screen blacks out and the audio buzzes. The only thing I can do is manually turn it off. It seems to work fine with DVDs and youtube but nothing else.

    Can anyone help? I'm trying to sort out the warranty before i ring dell.

    Unfortunately cannot help but have a problem similar to yours, the audio buzzes whenever I'm listening to music or watching videos, have tried to find out how to fix it online but everything is double dutch to me. Only got the laptop 2 months ago

    Seen the same issue on a Dell PC.

    Only resolution was to install a new hard drive. Run a scandisk to see what that turns up.
