    Hello

Can anyone help me? Id been approved for reduction surgery by XXXX last year with Dr XXXX in XXXXX private.

But i became pregnant and Dr XXXXX advised me i needed to wait a year before surgery...not sure why, maybe because i had a c section?

Anyway, my approval expired in April so I have to re apply once i get back down the weight (damn pregnancy). Much harder to get back into my BMI range than i could ever have imagined :( Was hoping to have surgery done this summer but think it will be later in the year before im light enough.

I rang Dr XXXXX to reschedule for the end of the year but she is on leave til October. Due to work I can only have it done over christmas 2011 or next summer.

Can anyone tell me how long before i could be up and about and drive?

And could anyone recommend another surgeon or hospital...pm me if you cant post? Id be really greatful. The neck and back pain are becoming pretty unbearable. Worse every year that goes by. Im bursting out of a 36HH!

Jayjay80, while we understand you may have concerns, you're looking for medical advice and your doctor or doctors are the only avenue you should trust on that score. NOT the random musings of strangers who live in the internet. Talk to your medical team. If they don't fulfill your needs, then get a second, even third opinion. Hope it works out for you.

Removed names of doctors involved. Please don't name names like that.

Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.
