    i dowloaded the up date and now on the up date in progress screen but it would'nt download it what the hell is going on my internet is work ing fine as i was downloading stuff earlier on

    My xbox updated - took an hour to do so - went noisy for a while - then my tv screen started flickering all mad colours and the xbox just died - gave up the ghost - and all this straight after i did the update..i called xbox live and of course they tell me that the only course of action - after me applying THEIR update - was/is to send the xbox to them to be repaired which will cost me min €80 euro - is is me or is there something very wrong with that? I decided to buy a new xbox as mine was 4 years old but still a damn shame about my old machine...so anyone who has an older machine..beware...

    mine worked in the in it would not dowload the update wireless from the router so i turned of the wriless and rang a cable fron the router to the back of the xbox and itworked dont no why it wouln'nt work the other way.

    My XBox (late-2006 model) update OK, no errors and worked fine afterwards (so far).
    - it had to reboot three or four times during the update process, though.
