    Hey folks

I've got two tickets to give away to tomorrow evening's sold out event to hear Michael Palin in conversation at the National Concert Hall.

It's part of the Dublin Writers Festival.

In one of the highlights of this year’s festival, BAFTA-winning comedian, actor, writer and television presenter Michael Palin looks back over an extraordinarily varied career.

    Chairperson: John Murray

From the earliest days of Python mania to his more recent globetrotting adventures, Palin has been one of the most enduring and entertaining stars of small and big screen. His film roles include Terry Gilliam’s Brazil, Alan Bennett’s A Private Function and his BAFTA-winning turn as Ken in A Fish Called Wanda.

His self-penned travel series has taken him from pole to pole; and his recently published two-volume diary series, The Python Years and Halfway to Hollywood, offered a candid and hilarious retrospective of his early career.

Michael Palin is famed for his wry humour and self- deprecating wit; join him for an evening of lively conversation, recollection and celebration.

The event is at 8pm in the National Concert Hall, Dublin.

To be in with a chance, just leave a comment below. The winner will be chosen at random at lunchtime tomorrow.

They're also giving away two tickets to the event of your choice here: http://www.dublinwritersfestival.com/blog/a-competition-for-our-facebook-and-twitter-followers

    Cheers

    Darragh
