Muscle and weight?

Is it possible to stay the same weight yet build muscle? I have been trying to gain weight for the past few months and have gotten to 11 stone. I was using Serious Mass. I am happy with my weight but would like more muscle. However I have run out of money but have a spare bag of Whey Protein, so was considering using that instead. Is it possible to get my muscles bigger, while maintaining a steady calorie intake (i.e not decreasing or increasing my calorie intake). Sorry if this doesn't make sense to you. Have a very limited understanding of bodybuilding lol.

It may be gene dependent, but if you were to eat at maintenance level whilst progressively increasing your lifts it wouldn't be unreasonable to assume you'd improve your muscle-to-fat ratio.

Uh yes but it would be incredibly incredibly slow. You should eat at 500kcal above maintenance and lift while taking 1g of protein per lean bodyweight in pounds and then cut after you've put on about 15lbs.

Ok I think I'll try that so, what do you mean by "cut", like tone up?

Eat at 500kcal below maintenance to lose the fat.
