Strange question, but whos the nicest guy in football.

I detest evra, and ronaldo and alot of that "superstar" bull****

I like the more humble guy, look at Messi, clearly the best player in the world but comes across as a pretty decent kid..

Balotelli, a guy with ability but cannot behave himself regardless of what team hes with..

Michael Owen, seems to keep out of the press.. Ol harry, great manager, but a legend for the outbursts.. hes a like him or loath sort of guy..

Giggs. Looks after himself, lives right, commited family man. His name is never in the papers for the wrong reasons. Top pro, top man.

    Cech, and Luiz and Lampard

Zola brings coffee to the poor journos with cameras outside his house when everyone's saying he's going to be fired always wears a smile too.

Why do you dislike Evra so much?

    My pick would be Scholes.

OP what's your beef with Evra?

Edwin van der Sar would be up there.

Chicharito as well seems to have won everyone over, even opposition fans seem to have warmed to him. Such a humble young guy who seems to smile his way through life.

El Hadji Diouf seems like a great fella altogether.

The entire establishment of FC Barcelona obviously, a team filled with valiant, charitable, men. They never dive, they played superior, passionate, and respectful football. You will never find a more noble sporting establishment. Busquets sums the team up perfectly - mes que un club. :p

On a serious note, Eboue comes across as one of the nicest guys in football.

Zola after last season with West Ham.
Scott Parker is supposed to be a top guy too

Im a united fan, but i think it was his answer to Ireland gettingcheated out of the WC that pissed me off.

Then his attitude when he got to the WC, him and the rest of the french squad.

    Love that.

o you remember Di Canio with WH, when the keeper was injured just picked up the ball and wouldnt play, another great one imo

I can personally vouch for Robbie Savage being a nice guy albeit craaaazy.

Di Canio is a nice guy but a nutcase at the same time.
Made a fascist salute playing for Lazio, don't think many of the Italian supporters think he's too nice of a guy

For all the crap talked about Barca the last while, I think guys like Xavi, Puyol and Iniesta deserve mention here as well.

Forgot to mention Mick McCarthy... good manager, not given enough credit, but the personality of a wasp. Which i kinda respect because he doesnt hide it.

He wasnt nice to my mother a few years ago.. lol true story

Agree with this choice. He may be almost too nice for management.

    Alessandro Del Piero
    Paolo Maldini
    Gabriel Batistuta

Always come across as modest and down to earth despite their achievements.

Dirk Kuyt, has his own foundation set up to help out people with disabilities. Postponed a family event to pick up an award given to him by the LFC disabled supporters club there a couple of weeks back. He seems as honest off the pitch as he is on it, a class act all the way.

I've always had a lot of time for Lampard. Think he's a gent. Same as Scholes.

Lineker seems like a nice guy, but the lads on Soccer Saturday, Jeff, Paul Merson and Le Tiss all seem bang on.

Really? I've met the man about 20 times, albeit during his playing days, and found him a really sound guy.

    Aye, it wasn't just the salute - he openly admires and respects Mussolini. One of Swindon's sponsors are set to back away after di Canio's appointment;
