Chicken Wings

    Hey Guys,

Quick question, currently trying to lose about 8 - 12 pounds in the next 2 months or so. Dont have that many vices, ive gone off the beer, probs have less than 6 beers a week now. My big vice would be pasta(i kno i kno), coke zero, and my biggest problem is chicken wings.

These are homemade chicken wings, only have them max once a week, but when i do i have a big portion. They're made with flour, then oven cooked, then franks red hot sauce, butter(not too much) and then the blue cheese sauce of course ( small bit of blue cheese, light sour cream, light mayo, and garlic)...Im just curious as to how bad exactly these wings are for my diet?

    Thanks

I wouldn't worry about the Coke Zero at all, there's no calories in it and that's what counts.

The homemade chicken wings sound fine to me, much better than most things you could be eating. I wouldn't even be really worried about eating a good few of those for dinner but only with a small bit of pasta and maybe plenty of veg.

The pasta could be a worry if you're eating truck loads of it several times a week.

To be honest with you, there is no right or wrong foods to eat when trying to lose weight. All that matters is that you consume less calories than your body burns.

Having a diet with mostly unprocessed foods(meat, eggs, dairy, nuts etc.), plenty of vegetables and some fruit whilst cutting down big time on all junk/highly processed food is the blueprint for sustained success.

Supervalue have it. It's not a great hot sauce though in fairness. It's on my list of things that should never have been imported from the states along with frenchs "mustard" and oreos.

Sorry for the OT rant there kids.
