Doesnt seem real somehow but I know it is legit and the source is his brother. Dunno why whether it is shock, the numbness of being a wrestling fan or that Randy has been off the radar for so long.

Jesus. Was only watching videos of him last night after watching Spoony's videos where he did an impression of him and blew him up >_<

    It is.

    Also:
UPDATE: Florida Highway Patrol tells TMZ ... Savage was driving his 2009 Jeep Wrangler when he veered across a concrete median ... through oncoming traffic ... and "collided head-on with a tree."

Savage was transported to Largo Medical center, where he died from his injuries.

Savage's wife was a passenger in the vehicle during the collision -- but survived with "minor injuries." She was transported to a different local hospital where she was treated.

TMZ spoke with Randy's brother, Lanny Poffo, who tells us the wrestling legend suffered a heart attack while he was behind the wheel around 9:25 AM ... and lost control of his vehicle.

Earlier this month, Savage celebrated his 1-year anniversary with his new wife Lynn.

    Savage was 58.

Macho Man began wrestling in the WWF in 1985 and became a superstar with his trademark catchphrase "Ooooooh Yeaahhhhh."

    So sad

Randy Savage was a proper legend.

More than likely they are trying to get their own sort of confirmation before reporting it from an 'entertainment' site.

I could put up something in tribute which showcases his great moments "in his prime" if you will. But i think this will be one of my favorite videos of his...

Even 9 months ago he was still the macho man just as he never lost it. :)

My poor heart is broke(again, if true)

    Give it a rest.

Confirmation if confirmation is still needed:

    fúcking hell.

in an age where the word 'legend' get bandied around a lot, he truly was one.

if it wasn't for politics, he really could have been an even bigger megastar IMO, rivalling the likes of Hogan. what a gimmick, what a madman, and what an entertainer.

and most importantly, what a wrestler and performer.

his bout with Steamboat at WM3 will stand the test of time; for all time.

    RIP.

    :(

Every superstar who's been in the ring with him seem to think that he brought out the best in them, you can't pay a bigger compliment or tribute than that. RIP Macho Man.

It was never acknowledged on TV so you have little reason to.

I'm completely devastated, after over 10 years of not talking with Randy, we've finally started to talk and communicate. HH

Sad considering Bret and Shawn buried the hatchet.

Not sure how to take this comment, did Hogan mean that he can now communicate with Randy now that he is heaven, or did he mean that they had only recently started to talk again?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,600 ✭✭✭✭CMpunked

I wonder how long its gonna take for wwe to make a statement.

    Or will they at all?

You know, i wouldnt put it past Vince this doesnt get a mention on screen.

what relevance does that have to hogan?

Think he's trying to say he and savage should of made up when they had to chance to.Typical of Hogan to bring any topic back to Himself.

going by his more recent tweet it would seem to suggest that they did start talking again not so long ago.

i still cant believe this to be honest :( , 1 of my favourites when i started watching many years ago and still to this day, ive no doubt he'll be in next years hall of fame but in my opinion its a damn shame it'll be 12 months to late and will have taken something like this to happen for vince to put him in.
