Hi All, I just got a free sample of the linwoods range of milled super-foods. I'm a bit dubious about the whole super-foods thing myself but had some mixed with yogurt and was actually really tasty. Just wondering if anyone else uses these and if so what do you think?

I buy it all the time and mix it into cottage cheese. Its the only way I can eat cottage cheese and I really like it then. I also like it in yoghurt.

I buy the Linwoods range all the time and add it into my porridge in the morning. I recently ate the flaxseed with walnuts, almonds, brazil nuts and Q10 (very tasty indeed). I just bought the flaxseed, sunflower & pumpkin seed mix yesterday which is equally as good tasting.
Hard to say if it makes me any healthier from eating it.

If you want to make it super super healthy it is best to buy it whole and grind it yourself. A coffee grinder will set you back some 17quid in argos

and you can grind anything yourself on the spot including herbs, coffee, anything. Much healthier that way.

why do they seem to have a lot of fat in them 40g+?
Is it a teaspoon or tablespoon thats to be added to food?

Its due to the seed content.
It's not a bad thing though
