This is getting ridiculous. Three separate threads have been derailed only today by male posters dragging things off-topic and trying to bend the conversation around to how it affects their gender.

I'd post this in the Forum Requests forum but I don't have access, and frankly I think more people will see it here.

It's sickening that we can't even post our thoughts in the Ladies Lounge without male posters telling us we're wrong and trying to make everything about themselves.

There are a lot of long-time male posters in this forum... you'd suggest that there is a strict pics to prove femininity or GTFO policy? lol

By the way, it's pretty tough being a man these days. grrr.

Some male posters. Report the posts and the mods will deal with it, as far as I know there is a private sub forum for women only too.

Hardly any need for the laugh out loud (no text speak allowed as far as I know) at the posters suggestion:(

edit: I don't actually advocate a private female only Ladies Lounge for the record!!

Perhaps, rather ironically, male posters rushing in with the flaming and dismissive rolley eyes is exactly the issue being highlighted.

Mallei, the forum charter is currently under review as I think all the regular posters and moderators have had their fill of certain behaviours at this juncture.

I'm locking this thread before it turns into a troll fest but rest assured, we are looking into the issues that yourself and other ladies loungers have raised.

We won't be making it private, as there are a lot of male posters who play nicely and post within the rules. In fact, I'm sure if we did have to honestly declare a gender, you may be surprised. I've seen a lot of males posting here be assumed to be female, and vice versa.

It is almost impossible to enforce a 'female only' policy, and I'm sure if we did, the forum would die a death. We wouldn't get new posters as easily, as they would have to go through some application process, and that's assuming they can find out the forum exists in the first place.
