    Hi All,

I know there have been several threads on the Paleo/Primal diet and I have read through them all - several books were mentioned and I was just wondering, for those who have tried it, which do you think was the best book on the subject? And which was the best book of recipes?? Even with "Look inside" on Amazon it's quite hard to tell in advance what a book will be like, so your advice is much appreciated :)

Primal Blueprint by Mark Sisson, there's a couple of cookbooks also by him/the community. But you can get tons of recipes on marksdailyapple.com

The paleo Diet/The paleo diet cookbook by Loren Cordain

The Paleo Solution by Robb Wolf

you can get the majority of the recipes online also if you have a quick look for it. There's tons of resources out there.

Thanks a mill, they all look good... But if you have to choose just ONE to start with (budgetary constraints ;) ), which would it be?

Primal blueprint, it's a very thorough book. It's gonna give you slightly different advice than the paleo diet/solution as it's not as restrictive on some things.

Have a look here: http://www.marksdailyapple.com/primal-blueprint-101/ and if you've read everything there you might not need to buy any book, loads of free info there.

That's exactly what I wanted to know, thanks! Found that website the other day too, it's very extensive - I still like to have it in book form though, I guess I'm an old fashioned gal at heart ;)
