According to this thread: http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2056219653 .... and this thread: http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2056219126 .... they do deliver 42" TVs to Ireland. :)

P.S. Yeah sorry looks like you're right. Just tried a test purchase. They won't deliver this TV to Ireland. Disappointing! :(

Yeah MisterAnarchy is right. I've tested checking out several TVs. They will deliver the LG 32" but not the LG 42". The rules seem to vary depending on make and/or screen size.

They're still delivering 32" TVs to Ireland and you can still get the Free Super Saver delivery with those.

This one for example is still available and being shipped to Ireland with free delivery: http://www.amazon.co.uk/LG-32LD450-32-inch-Widescreen-Freeview/dp/B003FMSIQ8/

The LG 42" TV is available at Pixmania for €465 delivered: http://www.pixmania.ie/ie/uk/8371813/art/lg-electronics/lg-ld450-42-inch-lcd-tele.html
This looks like a different version than the one on Amazon, and its supplied by a separate company, not Pixmania. So proceed with caution.

Think some people have used www.deliverme.ie to get Amazon 42 inch tvs delivered to them.

It's 50hz by the way and while its still a great bargain its not directly comparable with 100hz tvs selling here for €700 to 800.

    ** Expired. **

Now showing at £463 from another seller: http://www.amazon.co.uk/LG-42LD450-42-inch-Widescreen-Freeview/dp/B003H1048C/

According to Amazon, 8 of these TVs sold today; this morning there were 11 in stock, now there's 3.

P.S. Whoops! it's back now but there's only 1 left.
