ovulation days

This might sound really stupid but just wondering when using the digital ovulation sticks is it only one day in the month you get a smiley face?have used seven sticks now nd still no sign gettin a bit concerned:| am in first cycle since early miscarriage nd hoping all ok.thanks :-)
