Google Chrome OS

    Is there a version I can (legally) download and install on my laptop? I'm very keen to try it out but all I've found is something called the Chromium OS which I think is some sort of parent version. But I don't know what the differences are.

    I think they're both built on Linux so I'd guess that Chromium/Chrome OS would have some drivers built in?

    Chromium OS is 99% the same code, but without certain features, such as the Flash plugin and PDF reader, that (for legal reasons) can't be distributed with it.
    AFAIK the drivers included should be the same (perhaps with some omissions for awkwardly-licensed proprietary drivers).

    They should be pretty much identical from a users point of view (until you come across a PDF file or a page that requires flash).
