Before I make an offer on the Scar H, can I just ask why the hinge plate is black?

All the VFC tan scars I have looked at always have a tan hinge plate.

simple answer is i have no idea...the ones on ehobby have tan hinge plates however heres one on airsoft global with a black plate so i dont know why the difference in colours is there...i havent replaced anythin on it, its as i bought it

I thought there may have been a problem with the wiring at the hinge plate.

Anyway I will offer €260 depending on your exact location I could possibly meet up today. Just finished work and in Dublin at the moment.:)
