If Barca win tomorrow, will the trophy be unveiled in Levante's stadium? Or will they just wait until Sunday in the Camp Nou? Considering going to the Levante stadium and watching the match in a nearby pub... Just in case!

I dont think that the trophy will be presented tomorrow. Also Barça dont require a victory to secure the title. If Madrid fail to win tonight then Barça are Campeones otherwise a draw tomorrow night irregardless of a Madrid win will see them crowned Campeones.

Is the Real game on sky tonight?

    Wow, Ronaldo breaks Puskas's record!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,734 ✭✭✭CR 7

    2-0 to Ronaldo.

Ozil assists again. The team must be all trying to give him as many goals as possible, Ozil could've gone on himself if he wanted.

    Surely a hattrick for Ronaldo.

The greatest goalscorer in La Liga history. Fantastic.

did Ronaldo score the goal on the 58 min for just before it?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,435 ✭✭✭✭redout

3 more and he will equal the league record for a season.

Why wouldn't yer man let him give the match jersey away?!

    Goal Machine x 3.

    He's a monster.

They got him on the cheap at £80m tbh.

It just goes to show how wide the gap is between Barca/Real and the rest of La Liga.

Sure they've probably made that back through off the field revenue from him.

Makes me sick tbh but delighted for him.

50 if you count the Sociedad goal.

36 in the league, 8 in the cup, 6 in Europe.

    50.

49 goals - one is credited to him by Marca in the Pichichi that was deemed an own goal by the LFP.

Pity he missed 4 out of 5 games against Barca this season. That was never a peno for the last goal. Some strike rate though, the guy gets you goals by the bucket load.

Own goal? It came off of Pepe, not a Sociedad player. Here is the goal, clearly a Ronaldo goal. Shot was on target.

Ronaldo's original shot was on target, that's how dubious goals are usually decided. One of the few things Marca got right tbh.

Eh it came off Pepe, it is his goal if anyones. On target? It takes a MASSIVE deflection. I hope this was a joke.

Yeah my mistake about OG - It hit Pepe but the LFP ruled it was not his goal so it did not go on the official record. The LFP are the league i.e: EPL or whatever and the goals panel said no just the way they do the same in EPL. Hence why it is not officially recognised by the league nor the chaps who run the European golden shoe.

It's recognised by me and Marca. That's all that matters.

Im pretty sure AS would give it to Ronaldo too if pressed to make a decision ;)

Ah come on, with the Sevilla result at the weekend I could accept this comment but it's 2nd vs 17th, Real were always going to beat Getafe easily just like in most other Leagues in the world.

Sure they made a video showing Pepe was nowehere near the ball and the spin generated was purely skill on Ronaldo's part.;)

Aye, but he will need 2 more to equal the record officially otherwise he will not be not recognised. Marca are a newspaper by the way - nothing else. It is not like the EPL were an official award is given to the top goal scorer like the one Drogba was awarded last season. Records are recognised by the LFP. Anyways I wouldnt fret over it too much - he should break it the form he is in and will be a worthy holder of any new record.

Is that just because it was accidental?

Like if it was on target but Pepe volleyed it would obviously be Pepes

    C.Ronaldo got a hat-trick last night ;)

Away to Villarreal and home to Almeria, who are bottom and already relegated. I wonder if the Barca board will pay Almeria to park the bus at the Bernabeu :D Don't stop outside the stadium, drive onto the pitch. But for real, C.Ronaldo will break the record IMO this season. He might even get a goal away to Villarreal and hat-trick at home to Almeria.

Well I was always under the impression that if the original strike is on target and it takes an unintentional deflection, the original striker of the ball claims the goal. I know it takes a huge deflection off Pepe, but it was on target from Ronaldo and Pepe certainly didn't mean it. But that's just the way I've always interpreted it anyway.
