Gamestop sell the EX2 for €25.

It's an alright stick but the throw is a big pile of old buttock crevis fluff and sweat.

The EX2 is quite a big step up from using the pad..but it still feels like it's holding you back a bit. Worth the 25 it sells for anyway.

I got my one in Gamestop Henry street a couple of months ago. When I was in there they had loads in stock.

Got mine in Henry Street too oddly enough. €25 all in, brand new.

The throw on it still smells of bum though.

I'm holding a prolonged, extensive summit with The Gospel According To K.O. Kiki (p472 verse 21:17) to see if I can persuade him to 'fun' my EX2 and Green Goblin a bit.

i havbe that fine game, got it for €5 in Rage.
It's a brilliant shmup and really pushes the GBA to its limits, really frustrating aswell because the scenery is your worst nightmare even fly near it and you're dead

I've only played Iridion 3D for the GBA. It's pretty amazing visually, but doesn't play too well at all. I'll have to give II a go sometime.

It's also German but has the hallmarks of Japanese excellence. Lovely stuff. I want this and Darius R for the GBA but only NTSC-J versions because of the box art and my love of NTSC-J collecting in general.

Incidentally, besides eBay, where's a good spot to buy NTSC-J GB/GBA/DS/3DS games?

It's not hard to imagine really, the GBA was a beast when it came to using scaling and rotating graphics. Just check out stuff like Golden Sun or Gunstar Super Heroes. Super Stardust on the Amiga used similar effects.

never played Iridion 3D wasn't it just a tech demo at launch?
Iridion II is lots of fun but nasty at times to boot

Iridion 3D is gorgeous but a bit of a stinker. Iridion 2 is basically the gorgeous graphics of the first game with some actual gameplay

Cart only I'm afraid. Was the first time I went into the shop, I looked across and saw a shmup, it was love at first sight. I bring it to work with me every day and sometimes hide in the bog dodging bullets for ages:D

Gunstar super heroes is ridiculous on GBA, it runs so smooth and is such a kick ass game that it's not funny!!
