I am looking at some Massey Ferguson MF 375s at the moment, with a view to buying.
Anybody have opinions on these? What are the good and bad points?
I like the look of the Hi-line cab and I'll probably go for a 2WD. They're dear enough, but look like a decent enough machine ?????

If you ve got good ground then a 2wd is fine, nice reliable tractor but if you've got a heavy farm then you`ll be forever getting stuck and should get a 4wd instead

    Thanks Grecco,
All that I've looked at do seem to have extra wide back tyres, so I should be ok in that way. Half our land is dry, with the other half, dry to wet.

Grand tractor, simple and reliable as has already been mentioned. There was a fleet of them when I was in college in Kildalton once upon a time, lots of drivers and didn't seem to give any trouble. A fruit farm near me had one for a long time too, again lots of drivers and dog's abuse and no real problems. I knew a contractor with one for loader work too, as far as I can remember the only reason he sold it was it wasn't green with a yellow stripe. He had that contagious disease......

Had one from new kept it 13 years great little tractor. Get a two wheel drive with with wide front tyres the standard narrow tyres wear very fast back tyres will last 10.000 hrs clutch will last about 3500 /4000 hrs Also very little to go wrong with the tractor as it has a straight forward engine no electrics:)

they seem like a fine stock man's tractor, should be able for general work, mowing, stacking turning etc.
what more would a man need???
    all for €15k: http://www.donedeal.ie/for-sale/tractors/1911469

The Massey Ferguson MF 375 is a popular choice for its reliability and performance. Its Hi-Line cab provides comfort, while the 2WD model is ideal for dry or flat terrains. The tractor is known for being simple to maintain, durable, and well-suited for various farming tasks. However, some users mention that it may lack the power or traction needed for more demanding tasks compared to 4WD versions. At AgroAsia Tractors UAE, we offer a wide range of MF 375 models and can help you find the right fit for your needs.

Good tractor but for the sake of an extra 4k would you not go for a 390 4wd. Then you have a piece of mind on the wet days.
